ABOUT ARIELLE...
Arielle Corinne Anacker was a beautiful and sweet girl who loved her family and friends with all of her heart. Arielle attended Tradewinds Elementary School in Coconut Creek. Arielle loved singing, dancing, gymnastics, swimming, animals, Beanie Babies and most of all, butterflies!
She dreamed of one day becoming a veterinarian after she nursed a dragonfly back to flight!
Arielle was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) at age seven. After fighting for more than three years, Arielle lost her battle and passed away on January 19, 2001. She was eleven years old.
Before Arielle passed away, Arielle’s mom, Diane Trivelli, promised Arielle that she would start a foundation to help needy pediatric cancer families pay their bills and help find a cure for Ewing’s sarcoma, so other children would not have to suffer like she did. Diane’s promise has now become a reality and the Arielle Anacker Cancer Foundation is a legal not for profit 501(c)3 charitable organization.
