MEET OUR CURRENT BOARD:

Diane Trivelli - Founder, President , Treasurer
Diane's experience with non profit organizations developed over the course of  many years and she is no stranger to the Board Room.  Diane has sat on and chaired many boards and committees, and was elected as President of her homeowner's association for close to 5 years.  Diane is outgoing, detail oriented, driven by the mission of the organization and motivated by the promise she made to her daughter, Arielle, before she passed away.   Diane loves event planning, working with the families and children she meets and keeping the foundation afloat with her organizational skills and the support of her team.  Diane is grateful to her Board of Directors, volunteers, donors, sponsors, corporate partners, family and friends for all of their support.   Diane looks forward to working for many years to come to help as many families as possible and to see a cure for Ewing's sarcoma!  "I hope I can count on the continued support of my family, friends, members of the community and everyone else who wants to help a child with cancer!  I can't do it alone and I do need your help!  Please get involved today!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
William Young - Vice President

Bill has worked in the Accounting field here in South Florida since 1980 when he transferred from the JC Penney Auditing Department in New York City.   Bill first started volunteering at this church as an usher and was the first registration coordinator for the Young Adults conference for the Archdiocese of Miami at the  Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach in 1985.  From 1990-1993, Bill volunteered for the Miami Children Society.  He later got involved with the Boy Scouts of America when his son joined cub scouts.  He started as an Assistant Den Leader and later became an Assistant Scout Master until his son became an Eagle Scout.  Bill's son started playing baseball with the Miami Lakes Optimist Baseball team, and in time, Bill began helping out with this son's team and became an Assistant Coach and than later, as Coach of the team! During the last five years, Bill has been an Extraordinary Minister for his parish and brings communion to the home bound.  The man who Bill visits has been fighting cancer for the last four years.  In 2011, Bill retired and wanted to give more to the community and joined as a volunteer with the Miami Dolphins Special Teams volunteer group.  Bill has over 700 volunteer hours from April of last year to this year.  Last year, one of the Miami Dolphins Special Teams events was the Arielle Anacker Cancer Foundation Health Fair and Gala.  Bill was the Captain for the Miami Dolphins Special Teams volunteer group.  Because he has always held a special place in his heart for kids, it was only natural to accept Diane's request for him to be a member of the board!
Susan Underweiser -  Secretary
Susan has worked in the banking field here in South Florida since 1995.   Susan first started volunteering when her daughter wanted to be a Girl Scout, so she became a co-leader.   Susan's son started playing baseball with the Challenger Baseball team and in time, Susan began helping out with the registration of players along with setting up the teams and other duties.    When her teen daughter became involved with Special Olympics as a player, her son followed suit and also became an athlete for some of their sports.  Susan helps coach the skills basketball team, along with helping in other areas as needed.   Susan became involved with the Arielle Anacker Cancer Foundation because it has always held a special place in her heart.  Susan knew Arielle when she was a student at Tradewinds Elementary and when she first got sick.  "As a Girl Scout leader, we picked Arielle's fund to be one of the charities that would benefit from our cookie sales one year.  It was only natural to become a Board member when asked by Diane."
